2- I think that the fish and and chips are too apart on this sign.
3- Peter where Mary had had had had had had had had had had the teacher's approval (cue: there are two sentences here)
Come on! Use your loaf! (for the meaning of this expression, ask sb who speaks cockney!)

  2. yes!!! in cokney rhyming slang, "use your loaf of bread" means "use your head" just because of the rhyme; but to make it more difficult for people who do not understand cokney, they just use the first part of the rhyme "use your loaf". There are many examples of rhyming slang and they are all very funny.

  3. Well done Gisel (you made the effort at least, but you were not supposed to omit words!)
Well, I will have to resign myself to telling you the answers as you have found them so difficult!!! But now you have to analyze the subordinate clauses in each ok?
1- I think that that "that" that the student has written is wrong.
2- I think that "the fish" and "and chips" on that sign are too far apart
3- Peter, where Mary had had "had had" had had "had". "Had had" had the teachr's approval.
    Do you understand them now?
